I love Rabbit Hole! This beautiful building with friendly folks and a vibrant community of Bourbon lovers and newcomers to Bourbon is wonderful. This distillery is gorgeous and has the best view of all the distilleries I’ve been to yet. Their whisky is very tasty - especially the Rye - and affordable. The energy here is welcoming to all new bourbon drinkers and the feminist artwork is an awesome touch! Love this place and can’t wait to return.

We stopped in for a tour and our guide Dana was fantastic. She was informative, engaging and fun. Was one if the best tours I have ever been on. The gift shop has clothes, bar accessories and many other fun things to purchase. Recommend adding this stop to your bourbon trail experience!

We were absolutely spoiled by Mason during our tour last month. It was fun to learn about Rabbit Hole and how they started and set out to be different from the other Louisville distilleries. The facility itself is gorgeous and the whiskey is delicious. Mason took his time showing and explaining everything to us: from the history, process, equipment, barrels, down to the names behind each spirit. My husband had a Rabbit Hole whiskey dinner at his restaurant two weeks later and it was great talking with Mason about the menu/spirit pairings. He even came to Atlanta for the dinner! Huge fan of the big whiskey names but Rabbit Hole has fast become a favorite!

We enjoyed ourselves at Rabbit Hole! Our guide was great! The distillery was very clean and modern. Beautiful gift shop upon arriving. We ended our tour with a tasting in their upstairs bar which was absolutely stunning!

We came here for a tour and tasting, and we had an awesome time! Our guide Terry was fantastic and had a great sense of humor. While the tour covered the basics that every other bourbon distillery covers, I really enjoyed their chronological ordering of each of the fermentation tanks that clearly demonstrated the different yeast activity over time. I've been on ~25 distillery tours (most of them bourbon distilleries), and this feature stood out as particularly interesting and unique. However, it was the tasting and quality of the product that really shined in this experience. We started off the tour with a complimentary cocktail (always a bonus), and ended with a sizeable range of tastings, all of which were tasty and of solid quality. If you haven't been down the Rabbit Hole yet, I strongly recommend it!

Rabbit Hole is a modern building in the city which is different from other distilleries nearby. There is a small gift shop just inside the entrance. The tour has a per person cost and can be booked online in advance. If you are not touring, there is a bar upstairs featuring large windows and comfortable seating. Our tour guide Dana started the tour with a cocktail for everyone in the group which set an upbeat tone. This tour was much different from others in that all senses were used. We were encouraged to touch, to smell, to taste, to ask questions. It was a bit Wonka in the vat room to the point that I laughed- you can touch this one and that one but don’t lift that tarp! Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy themselves. Being from out of state, not all Rabbit Hole bourbons are available to us and our favorite in the tasting was actually one we had never before tried! We bought it in the gift shop. I recommend stopping by Rabbit Hole. It’s a newer distillery, but what it lacks in history it makes up in joy. I developed an even greater respect for the bourbon making process thanks to this tour.
